Are there any other boards cause that one seems kinda on the cheap side. I need a Premium AM3 Mobo, for 8 Gb DDR3 1333-1600 Ram and the C3 Stepping 125watt and it seem's that most of them are using 955's at most with that Gigabyte board.

Oh so you mean you had a rough idea on what you wanted to spend? Afraid I am not psychic.

That is a good board, it will run a 965 out of the box, it will run with 1600Mhz DDR3.

If you want to spend money on a board then something like this....

Newegg.com - ASUS Crosshair III Formula AM3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards

But if your not planning on any crazy overclocking that other board will suit your needs fine.

That formula board is more like it, I dont plan on overclocking right away, let the system run for a few months before unleashing its power. Also, your comp is like your baby you want it to be Fast and effecient while looking sexy and that Gigabyte board looks totally fag.

    Wouldn't go that far...

Its a good board offers good features for a cheap price.. Afraid we all don't have the money for a nice board (I have done alot more budget build lists than high end on this site).

Yes I want it to be fast and to some degree look nice, but my wallet doesn't...

Same here, I have Champaign tastes with Beer pockets. Im simply doing all the necessary research on part compatablity and look is a plus for when I aquire all the parts at once when I get my bonus in April.

Me purchasing the 5870 today was an investment for me as a gamer and not some rich bastard buying it cause it looks cool but I'm glad I waited til this week, cause Gigabyte cards just appeared on newegg like a week ago.

Im not doubting its performance abilities. The colors they chose are totally fag.

Oh nono that board may be cheap (actually its not really cheap - its solidly in the mid-range enthusiast budget) but its a very very good board. In general computer part prices have come down as compared to previously.

I personally use a very close variation of the board (790GX instead of 790X) and I can tell you its a superb board.

I would get the newer version of the board though, it supports SATA III and USB 3.0 among the other usual version improvements. its $30 more also, if that makes you feel any better nicer color scheme, too.

That sounds nice... The only thing Im trippin on is when I boot for the first time with the C3 stepping 965BE and it saying that my Bios is not supported, esspecially when you dont have a spare am3 to fall back on. If the board was released after the c3 then supposively its supported. I want to know for sure.

this board was released very recently, so yes I think they had the new stepping in mind when they thought of improvements.
