    Angry cmos checksum bad

    I have a problem with a new computer that I'am building now. All parts are new. They are as follows;

XFX 750i SLI nForce v1.0 mother board
XFX Radeon HD 4850 1gb ddr3 video card
Pentium Duel Core E6500 2.93ghz cpu
    Kingston pc2-5300 ddr2 667mhz 2gb single-channel ram
BFG ATX 12v 2.2 550watt GX Series power supply
    WD1001 fals sata hard drive
    LG GH24 sata cd/dvd drive

I get cmos checksum bad at the setup screen. I have cleared the cmos and restarted with the same thing. I also pressed F2 to load default values and had the same thing. I replaced the ram with another new one with the same thing. Ihave also checked the batt and it was 3.02 volts. The setup screen is as follows:

    A7567NX3 V1.4B1 020409
    Pentium(R) Duel-Core CPU E6500 @ 2.93GHz , Speed: 266x6=1596 MHz

    DRAM Frequency For DDR2 667 (Single-Channel)
    Inititializing USB Controllers .. Done.
    2048MB OK
    USB Device(s): 1 Mouse
    Auto-Detecting SATA 1..WDC WD1001FALS-00E8B0 05.00K05
    Auto-Detecting SATA 4..HL-DT=ST DVDRAM GH24LS50 YP01
Auto-detecting USB Mass Storage Devices ..
00 USB mass storage devices found and Configured.

    CMOS Chechsum Bad
    Press F1 to Run SETUP
Press F2 to load default values and continue

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    for starters welcome to TIMO

secondly, cmos checksum bad doesn't have anything to do with you RAM, well not directly. It means you need to adjust your bios settings. Clearing the bios just removes any custom settings. Go in and manual adjust the date, time and any other settings that might need to be saved and go from there.
