    its an MSI motherboard...?

Right out of the hundreds they've made, we're supposed to know exactly which one it is?

Thats like saying your car has a problem, its a GM Car.

Whats the Model of the motherboard?

Open the Case and look at it, should be printed on the board.

as to the Bios, trying holding down Delete immediately after the PC turns on, and hold it.

Otherwise you might need to reset the Bios.

There should be a Set of Jumpers on the Motherboard for the CMOS reset, its hard to explain/show with out knowing the board.

Otherwise pull the battery out of the board, and let it sit for about a half hour, that should reset the Bios settings, put it back in, and reboot the PC, and try again.

Floppy Disk Fail (40), usually means the Cable for the Floppy Drive not connected right, is bad or the Drive itself is bad.

Take a look at these and let us know which one it is: MSI Global – Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more

there's 3 boards with that model number.
