    Memory help ?

     
    Hey building a pc for a friend of mine the motherboard is a M7Vis v8.0 and I am trying to give him 1.5gb of ram but it wont post a video screen with anything more then a 512, and at that and when I tried to install 2x512 sticks for a minimal of 1gb it wouldnt read the other stick, I tested both slots with the 1x512 stick and they work fine solo, but when I put 2 sticks of ram in there it wont post or wont read it in the bios. Any ideas?

    Sometimes they are not compatible what's the brand of the memories?
