Need Help!!!!
I need to know what is wrong and what do I need to replace
I have:
600W Power supply OCZ Technology (Works fine)
Corsair Ram 2x2GB (Works fine)
Hard drive (Works fine)
Heatsink (works fine)
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E7500
Here is what I am concerned about:
EVGA GTX 260 graphic card fan is not working when I plug it in into my EVGA nForce 750i SLI FTW motherboard. Since it wasn't working, I returned the video card to get another refurbished one and yet it still does not work.
So, I thought it was my motherboard. I returned my motherboard to get another refurbished one but my video card still does not work, mainly the fan. I have tried every single part with another computer. For example, I placed my video card into another motherboard and everything worked perfectly.
Do you think it is my motherboard? Sorry if it is too confusing.

Well you already tried another motherboard so I doubt thats the problem.
You tried another system and it worked fine.
So that rules out the Video card.
Also you tried a 2nd Video card in existing motherboard, and had same results... but since it works fine in another System, again that rules out the card.
only other thing that might be an issue that isn't mentioned is the Power Supply, since it supplies power to the video card.
Might be some sort of issue, not providing enough juice to the video card via its one cable.
What Specific Model of OCZ PSU do you have?
You list 600W, but 600W could be a StealthXStream, StealthXStream II, ModXStream, or some other model series.
Are you using a Full 24 (20+4) Pin connector to the motherboard, or just 20 pins?i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

Yes that is what I had thought about at first but you see, i returned EVERYTHING except for the ram and hard drive.
I thought it was the power supply at first that was dead so I RMA'd it and got another refurbished one I believe. MY PSU is OCZ Stealthxstream 600W.
Okay, here are some more details. I used my friends video card in my motherboard and the fan works, everything works. However, I get no signal to my monitor. This is why I believe it is the motherboard's problem..or possibly the PSU..Yes, I'm using the 24 PIN.
Also, my motherboard goes straight to FF.Last edited by mrstanleyy; December 31st, 2010 at 12:03 PM.

Oh just to rid that out, my monitor is not the problem. We basically had a dual of everything. Monitor is not the problem.
I used his motherboard with my graphics card with his monitor. Worked perfectly.

Ok, that last reply didn't make much sense, especially the last sentence, in regards to what I asked.
"I used his motherboard with my graphics card with his monitor. Worked perfectly."
Your Monitor, not his. Also the Cable that runs from the/your video card to your Monitor (your cable), was that tested, and does it work?i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

Yeah had me confused there as well.
Double check all your power connections, if you have a volt meter check your PSU or since you have a second system to use swap the PSUs and see if the combo of his PSU and your system works.
It sounds like the card is not getting power when in your system. Since you say you swapped mobos and it still didn't work I'd say the odds are your PSU isn't working properly.
