Which motherboard should I choose?

I'm buying a new PC soon from newegg and assembling it myself. With a combo deal, I could get a higher priced motherboard at the exact same "A la carte" price.... however, I'm uncertain of which board I want as I don't know what the difference is... If anybody can help me out it'd be really appreciated.

It seems as if a higher number such as a DG80 would be superior to the 65, especially considering the pricetag is higher. I did notice that the DG65 offers PCIE 3.0 ports, and "MORE" SATA 6.0 ports.... but this is contrary to my belief that the DG80 should be superior. Please let me know what you guys think, and also feel free to offer advice on what motherboard you'd go with (even if it is neither of these two)... I haven't bought the PC yet, but it will be strictly a gaming rig. I'm planning on going with:

i5-2500K processor
a 580GTX GPU
8 GBs of DDR3 1600 Sniper series ram
1100W Gold Cert power supply (for future SLI when the 580 price drops)
(Possibly a SSD in the future when the bugs get worked out)

Well the GD-80 is currently the better deal. Its priced at $179 AMIR.

Just a few of the differences the GD-80 has more PCI Express 2.0 slots, more SATA 6Gb/s slots

other than that they look pretty comparable and will likely perform similarly
