what is this motherboard like?

Building a P4 system for my dad, for work purposes mainly, its going to be a P4 2.0ghz, and the board to be able to support up to say, 3.0 ghz if he ever decides to upgrade.

Its cheap enough and comes with onboard sound and video, but would it be better to scrap the onboard video idea and add in a Geforce 4 MX440 video card. How does the onboard vid stack up against a cheap card these days like the MX440.

But i wanted to say that on board video should do fine for your dad ..
Thats if he doesn`t care about games or DVD .. of course a separate video card will perform better ...
If your dad work with word excel with net surfing ..etc, a video card would be over kill IMO ..

To cut the cost, use the on board video

hmmm, dvds, he might watch the occasional DVD, so maybe i might have to go with a MX440 for him.

The onboard video runs @ like 200mhz core, so maybe it is decent??? i dunno
