    Unhappy oops,wrong board!

     
    after all the research i did,all the help i have gotten from people here,i went and ordered,well not the totally wrong mobo,just not the one i really wanted,after all of your suggestions. ordered a epox 8kha instead of the 8kha+! well,hope i have better luck clicking next time(wondered why it was 20 bucks cheaper than i thought it was)

    Jacob- the difference is that the 8KHA is the KT266 chipset, the "+" has the newer KT266A chipset.

    No, he has a board with VIA KT266 the older chipset ... well, good luck next time ... and the KT266 is good chipset too, you will get nice performance beside saving the 20 bucks ...

    No doubt, you will see and feel a BIG difference ... really, especially in loading times, games, encoding ... you will love it ...

    There is a difference between the KT266 and the new KT266A in benchmarks... but in real life you can hardly notice it, i mean who can notice the drop of from 210FPS to 195FPS in Quake for exp. ...
