No front headset connection
Hey gang
I just bought me a Muse DVD 5.1 Sound card for my K7S5A Mobo and after installing it, my front headset connection on my case won't work. Is this a normal thing or is it something out of the ordinary? I could sure use the help in correcting this problem. If I need to change the connection can someone please let me know how?

It looks like the Muse DVD 5.1 is a budget card, where there are supposed to be the front panel connections, there are only solder points.
If the connections were there, you could have moved your front panel connector from its place on the motherboard to the connector on the new sound card.
Since the connectors are not there, the front panel sound connections won't work, like they did with the onboard sound.
Sorry
The red rectangle is where the connector should be, and probably is on higher end versions of the card.

Hey Kuasimodem
Thanks for the reply. Do you have any suggestion as to what would be a pretty good sound card to get? Hopefully one with the required internal connections. I don't want to invest too much in it though. Do you think it would be worth it for me to get another card?
