    mobo come with modem??

    http://www.pcchips.com.tw/product/M787cl+v30.html

Does the above motherboard come with a modem??

The site that sells it says it does but I wonder http://store.yahoo.com/bilsystem-sto...procfanm7.html

Here is the quote from his site "Video, LAN, Modem, Audio included!!!"

All I see in the specs is AMR slot, but I dont see for sure where it says the AMR modem is included.

    Anyone know?

    Sorry this took so long.

Here's a quote from the mobo manual:

    Package Contents
Attention: This mainboard series includes two different models. They are M787CL+ (LAN) and M787C+ (without LAN).
Please contact your local supplier for your purchase model.
Each model will support different specification, list as below:
    Model Specification
    M787CL+ LAN (RJ45) connector
    M787C+ ---

Your mainboard package ships with the following items:
    q The mainboard
    q This User’s Guide
    q 1 UDMA/66 IDE cable
q 1 Floppy disk drive cable
q Support software on CD-ROM disk

    Optional Accessories
You can purchase the following optional accessories for this mainboard.
    q Extended USB module
    q AMR Fax/Modem card
    ________________________________________________

Note that the AMR Fax/Modem card is an optional part, and not something that can be pinned down in the boards specs.

In short: Call the seller and ask, then get it in writing.

P.S.: Here's the link to the manual:

The PC-Chips all-in-ones usually do come with the (AMR, CNR, DAA) modem card included. Some vendors de-bundle them and sell them separately though. Ask then buy!
