display problems involving onboard video and agp video card

I have recently acquired the MSI k7n2g-l mobo and it has onboard video (GeForce 4 MX). The problem is that I can't use my old GeForce 3 Ti 200 at all. I've tried hooking up my monitor to the GeForce 4 with the GeForce 3 in the agp slot and I can't even see the boot up. I've tried it vice-versa and the same thing occurs. The only thing I can do to get a signal is to take out the GeForce 3 (from the agp slot) and use the onboard video. And I cant figuire out how to disable the onboard video card so don't just tell me to "disable the onboard video" cause I got a feeling that someone will tell me to do that.
    Thanks in advance!

Umm...you need to disable the onboard video ...sorry...had to say it.

Do you have the manual? If not...here's the link to it: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/suppor...8&NAME=MS-6570

I looked through the manual...and sure enough there doesn't seem to be anything about disabling the onboard AGP. The only thing I could say is to make sure the TV Out bracket isn't connected...if it is connected, disconnect it, then try using your AGP card.

    Anyone else have a suggestion?

My Epox 8RGA+ didn't need to have the onboard disabled when I installed my GeForce3, and when looking through the BIOS there did not seem to be an option to disable. I imagine the nForce2 checks for signal in the AGP slot, and if no signal is present, it defaults to onboard.

Do you have another AGP card available to you to test in the AGP slot? And as rastorize mentioned, make sure to disconnect anything related to the onboard video.

I just tried it with no luck. But I did have the video out bracket hooked up. So I took it out and that didn't work either. Any other advice.
