fan connectors
Hi;
Does it matter to which fan connectors I connect cpu fan, pwr fan and case fan????
I got Asus p4c800 deluxe mobo and Cooler Master SX1 case (which has four fans). The case fan at the back has the 3-pin
fan connector. On the mobo two fan connectors are around CPU
and third one is in the area of right-down corner.
According to the manual, which is kinda lame, the case fan
has to be connected to that fan connector on the right-down corner, which is across that case fan. Wire from that fan
can't reach the connector.
Can I connect that case fan to the connector near CPU and pwr
to that other connector??? Will it damage mobo or something???
Any suggestions??

Just make sure you plug the cpu fan into the right plug. Some boards will not boot or the speaker will beep constantly if there is no cpu fan plugged in. Usually fan_1 is designated for the cpu. The other two don't matter

Didn't like Transformers growing up. I was more into Speed Racer and DBZ.
