RAID setups

I installed RAID 0 on an IWill XP333-R motherboard with no problems whatsoever. Now a week later I tried installing RAID 0 on an Epox 8K7A+ with all kinds of problems. Possible bad HDD and floppy connector seemed to have died on motherboard (tried a new ribbon cable and FDD and still no luck. Anyway, when I installed on the IWILL board I setup the RAID in the BIOS, fdisked and formatted with a WIN 98 boot disk,then installed Windows 2000 with no problems. Is this the correct method or are there other ways? I used FAT 32 instead of NTFS because I've heard it's faster.Can anyone give me a quick walkthrough of setup or did I do it right (seems to work fine)? I agree with an earlier thread -documentation for this in manuals is pretty poor.Thanks in advance.
