My sound died on me, need some guidance.
I finished watching somthing, and decided to redo a video i'm making. I downloaded a couple video programs to try to transfer a flash file to .avi. I also double clicked a .dat file which gave me
"unable to reconize format" on my creative mediasource player.
So after i tranfered the flash to avi, i wanted to hear some music which gave me the same message when i clicked .dat file. I then went to try to open the show i just finished watching, and the windows media player said "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play."
I then dragged it into a divx player and it says
"The video file you are opening includes audio that is not reconized by the Divx Player.
The file contains the following type data:
Audio data: Tag 85
You may need to install a new audio codec on your computer to listen to the audio. You can either stop playback now or watch the video without the audio."
so w/ my smartself i deicided to unload reload all my drivers... and after i unloaded my sound blaster audify 2 and tried to reload it it says
"setup could not detect and sound blaster audify 2 on your system.
Please ensure that your SOund Blaster hardware is properly installed before running this Setup program.
Setup will now exit."
any help out there would be good
-edit- i also have a request for PCI Input Device software in my icon trayLast edited by elitetrackstar; March 30th, 2004 at 09:40 PM.

Didn't like Transformers growing up. I was more into Speed Racer and DBZ.
