Does anyone know how to normalize the sound of a video clip that uses the AC3 codec? I have a clip and the sound is extremely low. I have the codec and it comes with a control panel, but nothing happens when I mess with the controls.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

is it just that one video clip or is it ac-3 in general? I always found that AC-3 sound on my dvd's was always low and that I had to turn the volume up higher for the same volume level when compared to say playing a CD.
I'm pretty sure that it's just the clip. It's really bad. I have to turn the system volume all the way up, so if a system sound plays while watching, it hurts your ears. Thanks for the thought.
