audio drivers

i recently updated the audio driver last week, but now there is now,there is no speaker icon in the task bar,and in audio and sound properties in control panel, it says no audio drivers? wth, i went to try and roll back the driver from device manager and it says there isnt ne backups for it? VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller is what we have.for audio device.

What sound card do you have? Onboard? If so let us know what motherboard you have too. Maybe we can get it working for you.

BIOSTAR m7vib, it does ahve an onboard one,Ac'97 2.2 aduio CODEC onboard

Did you check to be sure it was still enables in the BIOS?
