i was just wondering if anyone here have a good driver for CMI 8738 6-Channel PCI Sound Card i have search http://www.soundcard-drivers.com but their drivers are not updated and still did not install the sound device. can anyone here share their driver for CMI 8738 6-Channel PCI Sound Card.

i can't find my cmi soundcard driver disk at the moment. i did look earlier when you first posted, but i don't know if it covers six channel sound, anyway. it does four, at least. have you tried www.driverguide.com ? username:drivers password:all

thanks paul i have download all the winxp driver for the CMI8738 6chan but over at driverguide but nothing seems to work .. i was thinking of the new driver version that came along with the soundcard like when you purchased the CD that came along..

the computer that has a CMI8738 6-chan. is running on winxp with SP2.
