Ok, is there a certain brand of RCA cables I should get?

i listened to the 5300s today... i must say... they are decent for the size of those woofers... they werent as authoritative as the klipsch ultras (in terms of midrange reproduction, not just bass)... the guitar just sounded a little more present in the ultras than it did on the 5300s.

also, the phase plug on the 5300s are REAL. they arent the fake glued on crap that was present in the z560s... and maybe the 680s... not sure though about the 680s having fake phase plugs... will check next time.

THe Pahesplugs are real on the Z680s. You can push thecone down and see the phase plugs aren't glued on.

But the price shows that difference too. And there's not enough to warrant the extra money IMO. If a person really wanted a high end system they would go out and get a nice receiver and build their own system with speakers of choice and a 15in powered sub. ... oh i wish i had money.
