Media Player 9 Can't 'See' Codecs
I am having problems playing certain avi and asf files with Windows Media Player 9. I have used G-Spot and other utilities to find what codecs are needed to play the files. The required codecs are already installed on my computer, but the file still doesn't play. I get the 'Cannot Play the File' error pop-up. It's as if the Media Player doesn't 'see' or be able to locate the codecs that are already installed and ready for use. I have re-installed the player but that didn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks
