I was looking around at iPods and I saw the "HP + iPod" on Newegg. Whats the difference bewtween the HP version and the normal Apple version? Price? Quality? Nothing? |

I have always wanted an Ipod since they came out years ago, I just never had the money. I still don't. The Ipod Photo looks awesome, though! The first Ipod with a color screeen and 60gb storage!
I do have a question though; once the battery dies completely, would I have to put all the music back on a second time? There may be times when I have to leave it for months without power. |

When it drains enough a message will appear and the iPod will shutdown. Even if you keep on starting it back up intill the battery is 100% drained, the music should stay on there. |

THe Ipod uses a hard drive very much like you find in a desktop PC. It won't lose the songs even if you take the battery out.

Thanks. That is good to know. I only wondered because my Palm Pilot works like that. If the battery drains all the way, then everything is deleted. Now that I know it won't be, all the more reason to get one! |

Its like your computer. Do you loose all your information when you turn off your computer? (Rhetorical question, I hope the answer is no) |
