Making DVD from .wmv file

I am trying to burn a .wmv file onto a DVD so I can play it on my DVD Player so the quality is better. Apparently I have to make it mpeg2 format. Do you guys know how I can do this? Also can you guys recommend any good DVD Burning Software I can download? Thanks guys.

The quality will NOT be better when you convert it, it will be either the same or worse, but NEVER better.

burning it onto a DVD will NOT improve quality, but if you still insist on burning it onto a dvd use TMPGenc to convert it from a wmv to a mpeg2. If you have Nero Vision, it should also be able to automatically convert it, although beware IT WILL TAKE TIME.
