CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive Problem

Well..i had this problem for a while now. And im getting sick of it now. This drive is messed up. IT wont autorun anything, it doesnt refresh even tho i switch to a different CD. And at some programs , such as CD-maker, it wont detect any writting speed. Any1 solve this issue?

what if you.........

start--my comp--right click the troublesome drive--properties--autoplay(tab) and select then action you want for each event.

on the hardware tab select your device from the list then click on the properties button and make sure that "enable cd playback" is selected............



never heard of cd maker. my advice would be get nero............

Well...i tried what u said....and still nothing....i cant burn the stupid CD
Tells me that i have a not writable CD in the DRive -_-

you sure its an empty writable disc in the drive?
