WMP 10 Cant Un-Check The Copy Protect Music Check Box!!!

Hopefully someone can help me on this one.

I have a home network with 6 computers. One of the machines, Jukebox, is a dedicated music file server that I have plugged into my stereo. For the past few weeks, I've been ripping all of my CD's to Jukebox. Because I listen to the music on all of my networked machines, I have the "Copy Protect Music" check box cleared. Earlier tonight, I put in a CD that was "protected." Now, the "Copy Protect Music" check box is checked, AND I CAN'T CHANGE IT!!!! !!!! THE FRIGGIN BOX IS GREYED OUT!!! !!!! I've spent the last several hours now looking through my regestry and my security policy, but I haven't a clue where I should look to fix this.

Can someone please help?

Rich.

are you ripping with wmp? might want to try audiograbber or something to see if that fixes the problem.

I agree with Yohon125 on this one,

also, if you use XP pro or Vista try using the System Restore tool to roll back to a date before you had this problem.

If this corrects it then you want to configure automatic updates to ask you before installing incase there is a security update to WMP later that caused this .
