DVD's in hd quality...
This is what i understand. . . Dvd's played in progressive scan provide HD quality res's on HD tv's. <might be wrong> This is why i am asking. Well, i downloaded some HD movie clips from HERE and the quality of those vids are a million times better than any DVD i have ever popped into my computer.
My question is, are DVD's capable at running 720i/720p or 1080i/1080p quality? Or am I just a lonely confused boy...
I really wish that my DVD's would look as good as those clips... yummmy...
Thanks in advance ^_^When you began, we ended.

I believe ntsc dvds are 720x480interlaced or progressive and pal dvds are 720x576interlaced or progressive.

Progessive scan DVD's are not the same quality as HD. HD starts at 720i I think. Your normal NTCS DVD is 480 lines or resolution interlaced or not.(\(\
