| Speakers broken, or mobo sound? (KWIK KWESTION!)
I have a little problem, and I don't know if its my mobo or my speakers...
Heres teh problems!:
Sometimes, theres a period of ABSOLUTELY NO SOUND coming from my speakers. They aren't muted, or anything...Windows XP thinks that the sound is working fine... and I have some kind of labtec speakers (2.1) that are like from year 2000 or something... hopefully its my speakers that are becoming faulty all of a sudden right?
If so, THEN THANK GOODNESS. I always wanted to switch to these Logitechs!: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...121-118&depa=1
They're fitting my needs! I'm not really going to go EXTREME with the bass and stuff you speaker freaks go for... But my dad won't let me get new speakers until these crap speakers actually cease their purpose (no matter how staticky the sound is... )
If its my mobo, then plz tell me whats happening and how i can fix it.

Try a different set of speakers or headsets to test, that will help you determine if the speakers are truly at fault. Try your speakers on a stereo or something similar; it may not sound perfect but you will know if they are working.
Are you using Windows sound drivers on an aftermarket card?
