    Video Playback Problems

     
    My movies(any and every) are playing back very very bright for some reason
    I have updated drivers and my computer is
    Amd xp 3200
    gigabyte geforce 6800 gt
    1gig ram
    Anyone have a clue?

    You can usually adjust gamma/brightness/contrast from codec/player preferences. Lower the sliders.

    Muno this wan't my thread, but where/what program do you adjust those levels in? never had this problem but just wondering.

    if you are using the 77.72 drivers go the the nv control panel.

    select color correction and set clolr profile to "advanced mode"

    then set apply color changes to "all"

    then apply

    hello mr beatyouwithshoe,
    at least wmp (player) and ffdshow (directshow filter) allow the adjusting of those mentioned.

    Of course, if the sliders are at regular level, it might just be something global that's set wrong.

    heya I got this same problem also and with the color control thingy in nvidia properties I got it all fixed

    Ok, for you lazy people, here is what fixed it for the rest of us.
