PLEASE HELP (PCI multimedia audio device)

my mom thought it would be a good idea to screw arround with my computer and format it on me. i re-installed windows 98 se and i cant five where the pci multimedia device is. i know i have a soundblaster card but i am unshure of what version it is. i have a floppydisk for it (Sound plaster CD-ROM installation Disk p/n 1200001091) but it doesnt want to install whe is on it. i would like help getting the driver or how to find out what version of soundblaster i have so i can get a
driver.

Download and install EVEREST Home Edition. It will tell you what you need to know about your system. Including the soundcard type. Then you can go to Creative's download site and grab the newest drivers.

turns out i have a ESS Technology ES1938/ES1946 Solo-1(E) AudioDrive any ideas as to where i can get the driver i need? thanks.
