im having a sound card problem with my microphone. its a headset mic but i also tryed another microphone from another computer. all my volume and input levels are at the correct settings and not muted, but my computer is not recognizing any sound coming from the mic. my sound card is a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy ZS...i have downloaded the latest drivers for the card but that hasnt helped...the only thing that has worked is doing a system restore, but unfortunately a few hours later, the problem comes back!! my friends and i have done some research and we have found that this is not an isolated incident and it has happened to other creative customers. here is a link to another forum post from someone with the same problem
