You folks that use iTunes, I need some help. If you import a CD that has more than one artist, iTunes scatters them all over. Is there a way to keep the contents of a CD together? For instance "Santana's Supernatural". This CD has many artists and iTunes seems to go for artists first order rather than keeping the CD contents together. Quite often I like to listen to the whole CD, as in this case, because I like the whole CD. Hope I'm making myself clear. I realize I can make a playlist of all the artists but thats a pain when I should be able to pull up the album and play it.

I think i understand what your saying i believe You need to edit the ID3 tag of the songs, i had this problem where i would load up my songs and they would be in all random folders. I edited the ID3 tags with an mp3 tag editor and it corrected my problems

If you like you can disable it's organizing feature under "Preferences -> Advanced" and uncheck "Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized."

Itunes playlist creation is so annoying, have you thought about using the program rhapsody? It's 1000x easier to create playlists with and you can transfer mp3s to an ipod or any portable device.

itunes does scatter them all over, but can't you select by cd? I have a lot of compilation cd's as well, and so long as you give them a name under the properties (or whatever itunes calls it) you should be able to group them as a cd when you want to listen to it.

I do know what you mean though about how it is annoying. Do what Bluesquitar sain and uncheck that iTunes music folder box... that makes a difference.
