Music Censoring Program?

I've been looking over the internet for almost a month now for a music editor that will censor a part of a song. The only thing i epect is it to be free. But, if there isnt a program like that that exists, is there a program that will turn the treble off, or at very low levels? Thank you in advance for your info!

I have used Audacity to cut out whole refrains and choruses(sp?) and the results were quite good. However, I tried to remove a certain word from a song for my kids and that turned out choppy.

There are quite a few ways to alter a song with Audacity, I haven't tried to filter out just treble though.

Actually i have used audicity and couldn't find a feasable way to get rid of a certain word or sentance other than silencing it, cutting it out, or cutting it out and try and put some of the music in it's place. Thank you for your quick reply, but im still curious to find a program to censor music.

Good luck. I ended up finding and downloading the clean version of the song.
