I'm looking for some high quality wireless headphones?
I'm looking for some high quality wireless headphones, I don't want to spend any more than $500, I'm looking for something better than the Sennheiser RS 85's, anybody got any suggestions?

Oh no!
CORDLESS HEADPHONES!
Sorry for that reaction. After trying a boatload of wireless phones, I bought the RS-85's. They are only fair (to my ears) in terms of sound quality, but they are , by far, the least affected by interference.
I use mine for late night TV watching and I am 100% satisfied for that purpose. I use a pair of Sennheiser HD540's for serious music listening. (Obviously, the 540's are corded types.
)
BTW, I will mention that you should not buy the RS-80's. They look identical to the 85's, but do not share the 85's effective lock on the broadcasting frequency nor the 85's relative immunity to interference.

Thanks crazyray and br0t, after doing some research and reading a bunch of reviews, even phones like the RS 85's don't have much of a range, (they claim 300 ft, but from the reviews I've read, if you leave the room they start to get static) and the sound quality doesn't compare to corded phones.

I have the RS 65's & they are great.
They have a good range & only a little interference.
The frequency range is a little restricted but thats the price you pay for wireless.
Also the surround sound effect is cool for games & movies.
I listen to my music all over the house with no major problems & really rate these phones. True they are not audio-phile, but if thats what you want dont get wireless.

I don't think there is anything better then the Sennheiser RS 85 for wireless. If you want better sound quallity then you will have to live with the cord.
