| Real Player won't burn audio
When I go to create an audio CD in Real Player, the disk burns, (you can see the disk surface is burnt, and the CDR/RW is working), but any CD player, including my ROM, acts as if there's no disk present.
I have very little experience in this area and I know my description is a little vague. Can someone help me fix this? |

Can you burn audio discs using your regular burning program? That would narrow the problem to either hardware or Realplayer.
What brand and speed of discs? Aren't too many regular CD players that will play CD-RW. |

OK, a few answers for osprey: WMP won't work since I installed Real, and there is not a hardware malfunction occuring. The disks are Memorex 48x, my burner is a Samsung 48x16x48x.
Got Real to burn audio disk by compiling a playlist and burning from it. But when I play the disk, the tracks are all beginning in the middle of the song.
Example: Track one begins half-way through track 1 and seamlessly flows into track 2, track 1 ends in the middle of track 2. The progress bar reads as if it's normal, reading from the beginning of the track, but the actual audio is what's been placed in the stored tracks incorrectly. I've seen a post somewhere wehere another user had this problem, so I know it can be fixed, I just don't know how, (as I'm not adept to such procedures).
Can you help me with this? |

Honestly, I'm not a Realplayer fan and avoid using it. Hopefully someone else will chime in. |

I won't use Nero anymore. I installed it once and couldn't get it completely out, (I found out that the evil Symantec is behind Nero, so that explains a lot). I hate Nero.
As I said before, this can be fixed, I just don't know how. I'm not gonna run out and buy some overpriced software just to rip an audio CD. If I'm patient, mabee someone will have a solution.
Bottom line, I'm not getting Nero! |
