Can I put a flash file in PowerPoint?

Hi All. My family is having a huge party for my dads 60th and I'm going to do a slide show with pictures and video clips, and then project it on a big screen. But it would probably be nicer if I was able to do it in flash. Is there a way to view a flash show in PowerPoint 2000. Or, is there way to view a flash show full screen like you can with a PowerPoint slide?

thanks

I am positive you can put flash movies into powerpoint. I believe you ahve to convert the file so that Powerpoint can read it? I don't remember the details, but I know it is doable.

I fiddled with it for a while but I couldn't get it to work. I play with it some more today and post back later.

Thanks

It can be done. One way to do it is to make it an MOV file. I think you can do this with QuickTime Pro.

or...
You can go to http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=1382

The Add-in allows a user to embed a Flash (SWF) file built in Adobe LiveMotion into a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.

and download the add-in. I just gave it a try and it works pretty good. I don't know if there are any file size limitations though.
