Help: Streaming Audio not streaming :(
As of last week my streaming audio stopped streaming
(this really sucks since I just subscribed to sirius and was planning on listening online while at work!). What happens is when I click what I want to listen to it brings up the player, says 'connecting' then just says 'ready' and nothing happens. I have gone through the faq's on sirius and did everything that it suggested (i even tried both firefox and IE). When I called customer service they recommended that I re-install windows (which I really don't want to do). Before I go this route does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hello,
Are you behind a Firewall? If you are is the Firewall configured properly? I don't think, and would not recommend re-installing Windows because you can't stream Audio/video. Check the firewall issue first, and if it still doesn't work, request that you post another comment (or thread). I hope that this helped. Take Care...Happy New Year!!!

I use the same laptop for both home and work. I also just checked and I am not running a firewall. GRRRRrrrr so frustrating!

Hello,
Have you checked for virus's? For security reasons you should have a Firewall installed on your computer, otherwise you're wide open to the world. Anyway try installing a firewall, Zone Alarm is free, and works well. Try to check your computer for virus's/adware...etc. If you need a great Anti-Virus program try Avast, I highly recommend it. To check for adware, and other spyware, try Spybot Search & Destroy, and Lavasoft Adaware, alll programs are free. After installing the programs/updating, run them and see what happens. Clear the cache on your browsers, and do a disk cleanup to get rid of junk accumulated on your computer from web browsing...etc. Let us know what happens. Take Care...Happy New Year!!!

Well, I'm not familiar with your particular software but my first choice would be to reinstall the streaming software. Can you think of any changes you have made lately, software or hardware related?

Didn't like Transformers growing up. I was more into Speed Racer and DBZ.
