    Exclamation DVD Shrink 3.2 problem

I'm able to rip DVDs, create files of titles, but when I select "reauthor" to create a compliation DVD, I go through the browser, select title I want, but it doesn't list it on the right, so I can drag it to the left under DVD structure. It worked the first time but not since. Any ideas?

    Ignore her.

Why else would someone be using that program? Rip a family movie?
    NO.
It's a program that is built to decode, rip and compress movies.
The last time I checked, piracy was illegal.

I suppose the last time you checked making a copy to use in order to save your original is illegal too. If it's illegal and inappropriate for the forum, why did a mod move the thread instead of locking or deleting it?

As I was saying ignore him. I do.

On occasion I have had to use DVD Decrypter to rip the VOB files off the DVD to my hard drive, then run DVD Shrink to re-author things the way I want. Here is a tutorial that may help ...

Is Jokostel funded by the MPAA?? Dang! And yes DVDShrink was made to Rip and Compress DVD's. Sorry to break it to you Jokostel old buddy, but there is NOTHING illegal about that. You have NO idea what traderj is trying to do here and since you don't have any idea, you should keep your mouth shut unless you are trying to provide technical support.

I find the Slysoft and Elaborate Bytes series of products to be a much easier way for me to backup my kids movies and let her play the copy opposed to trashing the disc in a month.

I also like their products to convert and decrypt my movies so I can play them on my psp at work, handy!

I know I sound like a mouthpiece for a foreign company but after using alot of crappy, buggy non-workign software am VERY satisfied with Slysoft and Elaborate Bytes!

On August 17, 2005, the official DVD Shrink website was updated to say that the site "is no more!", prompting many sites to mirror the latest DVD Shrink version and offer it for download. This was a result of DVD Shrink's web host receiving a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notice, as compromising digital encryption is prohibited (only in United States, DMCA is not international law) [3].
Shortly after, the Web site was restored, and a Google search box was put in place of the download link. DVD Shrink is no longer available from the official web page, but it is available from many other sites on the Internet and it suggests finding a download source using a general Google search, "DVD Shrink". Jokostel unless you post the new sites available for DVD Shrink download I have no clue why you are still trolling this thread. It is fine by me if you want to be the mouthpiece for intellectual copyrights but in the spirit of Techimo help someone already.
