HTPC, well, kind of...
Greetings all,

I am currently trying to set up an HTPC to conncect to a 42" LCD TV. What I would like to do to play my avi video files through DVI to HDMI and control it with a MCE remote. I already have a Dish Network DVR so I'm not looking to use the HTPC to record anything. I just want it to play video files in fullscreen.

I have already connected the HTPC and can control it with a keyboard and mouse. Anyone know if I need to add additional software to get the MCE remote to work? Anyone have any suggestions?

Which OS are you running? XP MCE, Vista Premium, etc?
