PLZ HELP- Hypercam wont record sound!!!

Ok i've asked this on the web many times, and NO ONE has an answer. I really need sum1 to Think hard for me and give me their best answer for this...

HYPERCAM WONT RECORD SOUND FROM MY COMPUTER... IT USED TO RECORD SOUND AS WELL AS VIDEO, NOW IT ONLY RECORDS THE VIDEO BUT NOT THE SOUND.

I tried Installing it on a seperate computer, and It will not record audio from that computer Either! Is there SPECIAL AUDIO CODEC I need tto INSTALL? I may have installed a Bundled Codec pack on my first computer and it could have had the containing codec needed to record sound... I may have uninstalled the codec pack whenst it was causing issues with my computer and video playbacks, which caused Hypercam to stop recording Sound -- This is a possibiliity! I NEED HELP. PLZ Figure this out for me, and I WILL GIVE U MY EMAIL AND OWE U AN ONLINE FAVOR. K.

4200+ ATHLON x2 1gb DDR, integrated AUDIO, 9800GTX512mb! WIN XP!

Hypercam2 is the program. I have selected the little balloon that says Record Sound in the program! And I tried recording at different BIT RATES and FREQUENCIES, On One setting I THINK I was able to record the sound but it was extremely low volume... and all volume control and speakers turned all the way up, and not even hear it from 3 ft. away from speakers.

Double click the little speaker icon in the task bar. What are your options?

K. I already did that. I put it on advanced options so it shows the volume control of Everything. I put all volumes all the way up, and un muted everything. The options are:

Volume Control, Wave, SW Synth, Front, Subwoofer, Center, Rear, AUx, CD Player, Line In, Microphone, Phoneline, Pc speaker.

The options here stretch accross both my monitors.

You went into properties and selected recording? Select each one at a time and see if you get audio from the camera.

will have to wait for someone who's actually running vista to come by & "translate" keymakers steps from XP to Vista...

But you said (can barely understand do to lack of punctuation, but...) there is something saying Recording Devices?

if so, I know in XP, if you go to control panel, the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties, then to the Audio Tab, there's a section saying Sound Recording (guessing this might be similar thing in Vista), but in XP if you make sure your sound device is selected, then click Volume, it will open up the Recording Volume Properties window, in which case, then you should be able to select the various Recording inputs, in this case, Stereo Mix, & jack up the volume, click OK, & it should be done. more or less the same steps Keymaker suggested above, but his method was through the Audigy's volume controls, which are more or less the same as the Windows Volume controls just with the fancy looking Audigy themed windows LOL.

maybe see if something similar in Vista works?

if I was answering this at my brothers house down the street, I'd have a definite answer for you, since he runs Vista on his puny P4 system (LOL Best Buy duped him into that one, 3.06GHz P4, 512MB Ram, onboard everything, running Vista Basic )

but I haven't moved up to Vista yet myself.

Open the speaker settings again. Look on your keyboard for the key named, " PRT Screen" Press it. Now go into paint | edit | paste. Save that image and upload here so we can see.
