Converting HDV to DVD
Hi All,
I recently purchased the Canon HV30 camcorder. It records in HD/DV. I am hoping to be able to do some video edits and create HD DVD's with menu's etc... to play on my PS3. Is this possible and if so what software would I need to buy?
Thanks!

HD DVD is history, what you need to make is Blue Ray disks. Adobe Encore CS3, Sony Vegas 8, and Roxio DVDit are some of the software you can use.

Thanks for the help. Would I need a Blu-Ray DVD Burner or can I use my regular DVD burner to create High Def DVD's to play on my PS3?
