I have an easycap and I have two issues. First of all, its never really works period on my laptop. I've changed so it goes for YUY2, NTSC_M, and its on composite, but it never seems to work. When I click on the actual driver itself on my laptop, I get a 160x120 black screen and when I pull out the video plug and plug it back in, a freezed and distorted image of the current screen on whats attached to my easycap (my wii) appears. I will edit this or try to add pictures if anyone needs clarification. Also, on my desktop, which I have used easycap for a while with no real trouble, I recently re-installed the driver for the easycap (I tried that because it hadn't worked for a bit when I realized the other end of the composite plug wasn't in the wii, which was stupid), but after re-installing it, I've gotten some weird stuff. I get a 160x120 screen on a view of the driver and it is a miniature version of what should normally be happening. I normally use Windows Movie Maker (XP of course) for capturing, and I get normal options, and a normal preview. However, when I capture, I get normal audio, but then a pixelated and constantly repeated video of whats really happening, so it looks much more like a blur than the actual video. I tried Ulead but although it makes the audio fine and the video recognizable, it still has the quality of 160x120, which is too low for use.
Can somebody please help me.
