Ok my wife has a custom PC that was build for her. She had onboard sound that just stoped one day. No idea why I reinstalled drivers check every setting and no go. Go I just bought a cheep $20 sound card pluged it in and that worked. Well after a month her sound quit working on that also.
Her PC is virus free atm. I did use a program that took a few off.
When I start it in safe mode it says "Audio service is not enabled". When the box comes up "would you like to enable audio server I click ok. Then try and enable windows default and it never seems to work I can never get sound from the test.
