Sound issue. Acer aspire 7720z

Well when I try to playmusic from windows media player or just regular games, the sound starts to like repeat itself and slow down like a scratched record on a record player, after a little bit it gets better, is this an issue with the driver? or is it something that I am not doing? I beleive the sound card is integrated but I am not sure. Any help thanked.
