I turn my computer on one day and it says no Audio Output device is installed, so i go ok must have uninstalled the audio driver some how. Look under device manager their is nothing to be found, not even an installed driver. I pop on intels website and download the latest sound driver for my motherboard. NO CHANGE!
Here is what I have done and nothing helps!
-Reinstalled sound drive in safe mode and normal
-Last good config
-Restore point
-Drivers off disk
-Drivers off website
-Made sure audio was enabled in bios
-Even tried the sound to see if it was just posting a false message!
-Ran Windows Updates
Nothing seems to be solving this and i don't really want to format the hard drive and reinstall windows unless I have to! Any suggestions?
NOTE: Now it is showing High Definition Audio Device but i cannot locate a driver for it, nothing on the disc, website or right from vista can find it!
