Stereo speaker question

So I just got a pair of old speakers. They are not digital. I'm not familiar what the type is called but they used to be hooked up to an Tape player/radio. Is there any way to hook this up to my macbook?

Yes if you also have a spare amplifier. A Macbook will not power spreakers directly.

In most cases an amp will have a power cord. It should also have a input and output for spekers.
