.vob to .wmv

Is there a free program that can transfer .vob files to .wmv files? I've tried Prism, but that doesn't work at all. Is there something else someone suggests?

A vob file is really an MP2 file. Try renaming the extension to mpeg and see what happens. Watch this.

After you rename the extention then try Prism.

After you have an mpg file, then just use Windows Movie maker to transcode it to WMV.

hey, this is not working. I renamed it, and open it with WMP9.Then the player said "sending request for the codec". Few minutes later, it started playing with nothing at all, no sound, no picture.

Also, I tried to import it to windows movie maker, and it failed.
