when i plug my ps3 into the hdmi port of tv, ireceive the message "NO VIDEO SIGNAL". THE CABLE AND PORT WORK ON ANOTHER DVD PLAYER. ANY SUGGESTIONS???????
turn off the PS3
When you go to turn it on, turn it on from the console
hold the power button until it beeps
see if that helps
This will reset the resolution it expects to use to default 480, and allow you to redetect the connection.

not a problem, I had same problem
When I first got ps3 I started out with a standard tube tv .. then when I upgraded up to my HDTV a few months later I was pissed because the ps3 wasn't compatible with my sony tv
read the directions and holy crap, there is a reason for it not showing video
