Recording Controls all greyed-out.

Using Realtek High Definition Audio driver for my XP computer.
I took a look at my Recording Control from Control Panel/Sound and audio Devices.

The attached is the snapshot.

I am unable to move the slider of my CD Volume, Line Volume, Mic Volume adn Stereo Mix, as they are greyed-out. However, you can still mute them, which is strange.

By question is if this is normal or is there any way to ungrey-out?

I also noticed that my Recording Control has no Wave Volume. Why?

Sounds like a driver issue... are you sure you have the proper one installed... What does the Device Manager say about the Audio?

Question

I'm just gonna deal with it for now, I have the correct/newest drivers from realteks website, and everything looks right in device manager. I researched this and it's a common realtekHD issue.

Thanks though!

What do you see in the 'Options' Panel through Recording Control?
