.DV files
Greetings,
I've got a BUNCH of video files that I have pulled off my camera. I couldn't get them to pull smoothly in any of my windows progs so I decided to pull them off with my Linux box using dvgrab. So I now have a BUNCH of .dv files that I would like to edit and slap around a little bit but I don't have anything in my windows bag that will read them. Does anybody know of a good editor that will allow me to dice them up and drop them out into lossless avi or something? I have Adobe Premiere Elements but its no bueno with these.
Cheers!Wherever you go.... There you are!

Thank you very much for the post. I downloaded it and it doesn't recognize the files.
This is an example of my problem. There are tons of programs out there that say that they work with DV files but what they mean are DV files in .AVI format.
Surely I'm not the first person in history to have this issue.
Thanks again...Wherever you go.... There you are!

As I don't have the .dv file to test this, I can only say this might work. I use NCH apps for other things and am pleased with the results...
