Recently after putting in my new graphics card I noticed instead of just having a DVD-R drive my computer showed an HD DVD as well. I didn't think anything about it, I just thought maybe I had HD capability now as I am rather new to this. I just did some cleaning of old files and stuff I don't ever use. I guess I deleted something important because the HD DVD drive icon in my computer is gone now. I don't know if it would have played an HD DVD or not but now I can never try. I guess my real concern is can a regular DVD drive be converted into an HD DVD with just some software? If it can't I am not worried about the icon disappearing. Thanks in advance.
