Hi,I hope someone can help me.
I have a video file which was in avi format but I wanted to record it onto a DVD and send a copy to my sister who lives in Spain (so she can watch it on her TV). I got a copy of ConvertXtoDVD and I seem to have converted the file sucessfully to a format compatible with TV.
The problem I am having that once I have converted the file and try to burn to DVD, it starts the burning process but 5 mins in it stops and says there is an error - incompatible disc or something.
I have checked on my own TV and about 10 minutes of the file has successfully burnt and plays back fine on my TV.
From what I can gather from reading various websites there might be an issue with the discs I am using or the speed I am trying to burn at. I have tried the following and all of them have the same problem:
Philips DVD-R burning at 4 x speed
Sony DVD+R burning at 4 x speed
Sony DVD + R burning at 2 x speed
Im not sure what else to try now so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
