    HD media player

    Newegg.com - media player 1080p mkv

Has anyone used a HD media player like one of these? I would like some feedback/advice before purchasing one because its a large investment considering what I want it for. Anyway, I respect TechIMO posters opinions a lot so I could use some tips/things to look for.

EDIT: I want to play a few 1080p home videos that have been stored on usb drives and I have a few 720p MKV files. I can't use the 360 for it. I thought about building a cheap Linux box, but these are way cheaper than that.

I have one and love it. It's the one from WD and it plays most common formats, excellent up-rez function. The menu is no perfect, but slowly improving with every software upgrade.
